Iron Barley #1
Iron Barley Job -bar removed and floor repair underway
The owner of Iron Barley, a restaurant and bar in St. Louis contacted me about installing a new floor in the bar.
This photo shows the physical bar removed and sub-floor repair work begun where the old beer coolers had leaked on the floor for years. Just behind and to the left of the cold water supply pipe in the photo is a spot where a piece of particle board sub-floor had to be torn up and replaced.
Over the years, the building had endured some questionable repair work at the hands of previous owners. When will people learn that particle board should NEVER be used as a sub-flooring material... Especially in areas likely to get very wet.
